Dear Friends in Christ,
Our Lord has put compassion in our hearts for orphaned children in Kenya, East Africa. We have opened an orphanage, Mbitini Emmanuel Children’s Home, with the help of people like you.
The mission of Mbitini Emmanuel Children’s Home is to raise the children in a Christian environment. The children in the home range in age from 5 to 14 years old. The following areas are a main focus of our mission:
- Food – providing food to nourish their bodies and minds.
- Health Care – making sure they are healthy and free from disease.
- Education – teaching them the fundamentals of education in order to lead a productive life.
- Spiritual – showing them the love of our God the Father and the way to salvation.
In addition to the unconditional love that is shown to each child, there are financial needs and concerns. To provide the above missions for one child costs approximately $25.00 a month. Presently there are 45 children in the orphanage. This is where you can play an important part. We are looking for sponsorships of children on a monthly basis, or a financial donation to Mbitini Emmanuel Children’s Home to help with the costs of the areas listed above.
